On July 04, 2022, TELUS announced a $430 million investment across the City of Calgary in 2022 as part of its $17 billion investment in operations, network infrastructure, and spectrum across the province till 2026, creating new jobs for Albertans and connecting more families and businesses to TELUS’ world-leading 5G and TELUS Pure Fibre networks.
On July 06, 2022, Telus and Allied celebrated the opening of TELUS Sky, Telus’ new state of the art headquarters in Downtown Calgary. Although it’s the latest technological expansion in Calgary, last month, IBM also announced opening of its Canada Client Innovation Centre (CIC) in Calgary, bringing 250 jobs with it.
