Telus Announced Massive Influx of Hiring 8500 Employees Over next 4 Years in Alberta

On July 04, 2022, TELUS announced a $430 million investment across the City of Calgary in 2022 as part of its $17 billion investment in operations, network infrastructure, and spectrum across the province till 2026, creating new jobs for Albertans and connecting more families and businesses to TELUS’ world-leading 5G and TELUS Pure Fibre networks.

On July 06, 2022, Telus and Allied celebrated the opening of TELUS Sky, Telus’ new state of the art headquarters in Downtown Calgary. This mesmerising landmark is a unique blend of profession life and urban living. It stands 60 storeys tall and comprises of office and retail space including 326 rental homes in 75000 square feet area. TELUS Sky is one of the most technologically innovative and environment friendly sites in North America, build to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) platinum standards that is the highest LEED certification. Powered by purpose, TELUS is a global leader in sustainability with the ambitious goal to use 100 per cent renewable energy by 2025.

Although it’s the latest technological expansion in Calgary, last month, IBM also announced opening of its Canada Client Innovation Centre (CIC) in Calgary, bringing 250 jobs with it.
